Well, I'm a Sagittarius. I like candle-lit dinners, bubble baths, dancing, chocolate. Um...I love just curling up in front of the fire with good conversationalist...um I'm definitely a cuddler. What? Not that kind of bio? Oh, okay, sorry.
Let's see...what do you need to know about me? I grew up in Southern California, and took off to Tacoma to go to college. After 5 years there, I returned to the L.A. area. I temped for about a year-and-a-half, with some jobs being better than others. I landed an Office Manager position at a dentist's office. It was long hours, and got way too stressful, so I don't work there anymore, which means I'm back to temping and looking for something permanent. I learned to crochet, I can't get enough of it and I have developed a yarn fetish. I'm a history nerd, a unicorn freak, and a geology buff. I love music. I speak Spanish and I believe it is imporant to dance. I watch movies, enjoy good food, and like just hanging out with friends doing one or more of these activities. I like boys, but they don't seem to like me too much. Except for a few really weird ones I meet on the L.A. buses. *shudders*
My parents were are a couple of great ol' hippies. My brother was a barista who's now a teller and who once kicked me in the stomach, causing me to pass out, but he thought I was trying to do a back flip, so he started cracking up. We get along much better now. My sister is a Dental Assistant, and since working at a dental office, we can "talk shop" - though I was on the "business" end, not the dental end. I don't like to tie my self down to any one religion, but lately, I've been getting really interested in pagan religions and witchcraft. I'm a heart patient, and I've been doing pretty decent, all things considered, but every now and then, the condition likes to act up, in which case, you'll hear me bitch about it in my LJ (although most of those are marked as "friends only"). Really, though, I'm pretty boring. I'm really just signing up for LJ to have a spiffy icon. |
